A cohort of 12 participants, featuring coaches from State Badminton Associations, badminton clubs, and Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS), successfully completed the Training of Trainers (TOT) course held from February 26 to 28 in Kuala Lumpur.

Led by BAM’s Coaching Education Panel committee, this initiative reinforces the commitment to cultivate more Level 1 Coaching Course instructors. Notably, former players, including the 2021 Uber Cup team captain Lee Meng Yean, former national player, Yap Rui Cheng and Ng Sin Jou, actively participated, showcasing the relevance of this effort for former players transitioning to coaching roles.

Key figures involved as trainers were committee Chairman, Dr. Tengku Fadilah Tengku Kamalden, former National junior head coach Kwan Yoke Meng, and Perak BA Honorary Secretary Mohamed Zambri Bahari.

The three-day course, officiated by BAM General Secretary Dato’ Kenny Goh Chee Keong, stands as a testament to BAM’s dedication to advancing coaching excellence in badminton.
